About the Game

In the distant future, humans are fighting a dangerous enemy called the Bydo Empire. The Bydo are bio-mechanical creatures that can destroy and control anything they touch. Long ago, humans created the Bydo as a weapon, but the experiment went wrong and the Bydo became a huge threat to humanity.

Now the Bydo have returned and are stronger than ever. To stop them, the Earth Space Corps creates a powerful new fighter ship called the R-90 Ragnarok. You play as the pilot of this ship and travel through dangerous space and Bydo dimensions to destroy enemy forces and save humanity.

R-Type Dimensions III brings classic arcade shooting action to modern players with improved 3D graphics, better animations, and detailed environments while keeping the original R-Type gameplay style. The game builds on earlier titles and adds new visuals, sounds, and gameplay features for a better experience.
