About the Game

Battle to become the Pokémon Champion in the city of Frontier. In Pokémon Champions, players fight with different Pokémon, including Mega-Evolved Pokémon like Mega Dragonite. The game uses the same battle system as official Pokémon Video Game Championship events, with familiar mechanics like Pokémon types, Abilities, and moves. This allows players to use smart and strategic battle techniques.

You can play online in Ranked Battles against players from around the world or choose Casual Battles for relaxed gameplay. You can also create Private Battles to play with your friends and family.

Recruit and Train Pokémon

Before starting battles, you need to find Pokémon for your team. Each day, you can try new Pokémon on a trial basis and test them in battles. If you like them, you can use Victory Points (VP) to add them permanently to your team.

You can also use VP to train your Pokémon. Improve their Attack, Defense, and other stats, and change their Abilities and moves to create better battle strategies.

Use Pokémon from Pokémon HOME

Pokémon Champions supports Pokémon HOME, a cloud service for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. This allows you to bring Pokémon from other games like Pokémon GO and other Pokémon RPGs.

If you transfer Pokémon like Chesnaught, Delphox, Greninja, or Eternal Flower Floette from Pokémon Legends: Z-A through Pokémon HOME, you can receive special Mega Stones in Pokémon Champions.

Free Nintendo Switch 2 Update

A free update is available for Pokémon Champions on Nintendo Switch 2, which improves the game’s graphics. An internet connection is required to download the update.
